Event Volunteer Opportunities
Movers: Help load and unload items and supplies into vehicles and transport from the Helpline to the venue, St. Anne's Parish.
Item Donation Pick up: Pick up items from local businesses, and other in-kind donations and supplies the day of the event.
Under the direction of the Event Planner, set up the venue
the night before and/or the day of the event. Set-up includes tables, linens, place settings, signage, registration, etc.
After Party Clean-up Crew: This group will be responsible for
cleaning up on Saturday evening after the event. Clean up includes
taking down decorations, loading remaining supplies and unclaimed
items into vehicles for transport back to the Helpline or local restaurants. This is a great opportunity for a group.
Register guests on the night of event, and enter sales throughout the
evening. This position is ideal for individuals with strong customer
service experience, and attention to detail.
Work in the kitchen, plating desserts, appetizers and pouring champagne. Clean dishes and support the food and wait staff.
Work with restaurants and their food dishes, serving guests in a buffet type manner.
Table Staff: Work during the live event to clear dishes from tables, replenish water and wine, and serve desserts.
